SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW
COMMITTEE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR JUNE 13, 2000 HELD IN THE TOWN
COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS,
CALIFORNIA.

The meeting was called to order at 9:10 A.M. by Chair Baily.
ATTENDANCE

ITEM 1: 267 Vista Del Monte
Architecture and Site Application S-00-6
Requesting approval to construct a new single family residence on property zoned HR -1.
PROPERTY OWNER: Bay City Investment and Development
APPLICANT: James Phillip Wright
Deemed incomplete by Planning, Engineering, and parks & forestry Departments. Does
not need to return to Development Review Committee unless footprint is revised. Once
complete, matter will be scheduled for next available Planning Commission hearing.
ITEM 2: 180 La Montagne Court
Architecture and Site Application S-00-4512
Requesting approval to construct a new single family residence on property zoned
R-1:12.

Applicant did not show. Continued to the next meeting.
ITEM 3: 16615 Lark Avenue

Requesting approval to install a wireless communication facility mounted on an existing
building on property zoned O.
PROPERTY OWNER: John and Ann Barber
APPLICANT: Whalen & Co for Sprint PCS
Deemed complete. Tentatively scheduled for the Planning Commission meeting of July 26,
2000.
ITEM 4: 471 Santa Rosa Drive
Architecture and Site Application S-00-44
Requesting approval of a grading permit to construct a swimming pool and for
landscaping improvements on property zoned HR-2 ½.
PROPERTY OWNER\APPLICANT: Anita Shrigley
Deemed complete. Notice of intent to approve will be mailed.
ITEM 5: 16639 Shannon Road
Subdivision Application M-00-8
Requesting approval of a Certificate of Compliance to legalize two parcels on property
zoned R-1:8.
PROPERTY OWNER\APPLICANT: Lee Campbell
Deemed incomplete by Planning and Engineering Departments. Does not need to return
to Development Review Committee unless action will be for denial.
ITEM 6: 615 Blossom Hill Road and Placer Oaks Drive
a. Development Application DEV-99-001
b. Negative Declaration ND-98-0013
Requesting approval of a General Plan Amendment to change the land use designation
from Low Density Residential to Medium Family Residential, and a Planned Development
to change the zoning designation from R-1:8 and RM:5-12 to RM:5-12:PD to construct
59 apartment units. No significant environmental impacts have been identified as a
result of this project and a Negative Declaration is recommended.
PROPERTY OWNERS: Live Oak Apartments, Bill Errico and Wayne Leposavic
APPLICANT/APPELLANT: Cupertino Development Corporation
Deemed incomplete by the Planning Department. Does not need to return to Development
Review Committee. Once complete, matter will be scheduled for next available Planning
Commission meeting.
