ATTENDANCE Members Present: Sandy Baily, Associate Planner Julie Linney, Fire Department John Iaquinto, Parks Department Gary Chao, Assistant Planner Steve Kowalski, Assistant Planner ITEM 1: 222 Nicholson Avenue Architecture and Site Application S-00-27 Requesting approval to project into the required setbacks on a nonconforming lot zoned R-1D:LHP. PROPERTY OWNER: Brian Royston and Juliana Scalise APPLICANT: Leslie A.G. Dill Deemed complete, Notice of Intent to Approve Application wil l be mailed when required envelopes are submitted. ITEM 2: 209 Edelen Avenue a. Architecture and Site Application S-99-15 b. Variance Application V-00-4 Requesting approval to demolish an existing single family residence and to construct a new residence which exceeds the FAR and to reduce the number of required parking spaces for property located in the R-1D:LHP zone. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: Robert and Patricia Peebles Deemed incomplete by Planning Department. Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. Once complete, matter will be scheduled for next available Planning Commission meeting. ITEM 3: 16400 Englewood Avenue Architecture and Site Application S-00-35 Requesting approval to demolish a pre-1941 residence and to construct a new single family residence on property zoned R-1:20. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: Mike and Ginger Rowe Deemed incomplete by Planning Department. Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. Once complete, Notice of Intent to Approve will be mailed. ITEM 4: 15400 Los Gatos Boulevard Conditional Use Permit U-00-15 Requesting approval to modify a conditional use permit to allow a car rental service in conjunction with an existing automobile dealership on property zoned CH. PROPERTY OWNER: James S. McHugh APPLICANT: The Hertz Corporation Deemed incomplete by Parks & Forestry Department. Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. Tentatively scheduled for Planning Commission meeting of June 14, 2000 as a consent item. ITEM 5: 20 Dittos Lane a. Architecture and Site Application S-00-34 b. Negative Declaration ND-00-4 Requesting approval of a grading permit to construct a new driveway with access onto College Avenue on property zoned R-1D. If no significant environmental impacts are identified as a result of this project, a Negative Declaration will be recommended and an Environmental Impact Report will not be required. PROPERTY OWNER: Marko Gera APPLICANT: Thomas Whitford Design Deemed incomplete by Planning, Engineering, and Parks & Forestry Departments. Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. Once complete, environmental review process will begin. Architecture and Site Applications S-00-28 through S-00-31 Requesting approval to subdivide a parcel into four lots, and to demolish a single family residence and construct four residential condominiums on property zoned RM:5-12. PROPERTY OWNER\APPLICANT: Mr. and Mrs. Khalid A. Mawla Deemed incomplete by Planning, Engineering, Fire, and Parks & Forestry Departments. Must return to Development Review Committee.
