05-23-00 Minutes - DRC TOWN OF LOS GATOS 110 East Main Street, Los Gatos, CA 95032 (408) 354-6872 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR MAY 23, 2000 HELD IN THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------- The meeting was called to order at 9:05 A.M. by Chair Baily. ATTENDANCE Members Present: Sandy Baily, Associate Planner Julie Linney, Fire Department Tim Boyer, John Iaquinto, Parks Department Gary Chao, Assistant Planner Chris Riordan, Assistant Planner Steve Kowalski, Assistant Planner ITEM 1: 14880 and 14890 Los Gatos Blvd and 14950 and 14960 Terreno de Flores a. Development Application PD-00-2 b. Architecture and Site Application S-00-26 c. Negative Declaration ND-00-3 Request for approval of a zone change from R-1:8 and RM:5-12 to CH:PD to (a) construct an office building and 12 detached residential units and (b) demolish eight residential units. If no significant environmental impacts are identified as a result of this project, a Negative Declaration will be recommended and an Environmental Impact Report will not be required. PROPERTY OWNERS: Mark and Debbie Tanner and Avi Meyers APPLICANT: Cupertino Development Corporation Deemed incomplete by Planning and Parks & Forestry Departments. Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. Once complete, environmental review process will begin. ITEM 2: 17101 Hicks Road & 14045 Shannon Road a. Development Application DEV-99-002 b. Negative Declaration ND-99-0005 c. Architecture and Site Application S-99-5 Requesting approval of (1) a Planned Development to change the zone from RC and prezoned HR-5 to HR-2 1/2:PD to allow 19 single family lots. (2) a General Plan and Hillside Specific Plan amendment to change the land use designation from Agriculture to Hillside Residential and (3) Architecture and Site approval to demolish a single family residence, two pre-1941 single family residences, a pre-1941 barn and one single family residence. If no significant environmental impacts are identified as a result of this project, a Negative Declaration will be recommended and an Environmental Impact Report will not be required. PROPERTY OWNER: The Dagney Group, LLC APPLICANT: Greenbriar Land Company Deemed incomplete by Engineering and Parks & Forestry Departments. Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. Once plans and the Initial Study is complete, the EIR process will begin. ADJOURNMENT Meeting adjourned at 9:40 A.M. The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Development Review Committee is Tuesday, May 30, 2000.
