SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW
COMMITTEE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR JANUARY 18, 2000 HELD IN THE
TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS,
CALIFORNIA.

The meeting was called to order at A.M. by Chair Baily.
ATTENDANCE
Members Present:
Sandy Baily, Associate Planner
Chris Riordan, Assistant Planner
Melanie Chase, Fire Department
Tim Boyer, Parks Department
ITEM 1 630 University Avenue
Architecture and Site Application S-00-1
Requesting approval of a time extension for an Architecture and Site Application to
demolish an existing building and to construct a new retail/industrial building on property
zoned LM.
PROPERTY OWNER\APPLICANT: Ron Martino.
Deemed complete, matter tentatively scheduled for Planning Commission meeting of
February 9, 2000 as a consent item.
ITEM 2 15690 Gum Tree Lane
Conditional Use Permit U-00-1
Requesting approval to construct an accessory living quarters on property zoned HR -2
½.
PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: Eric Hamilton
Deemed incomplete by Planning Department. Does not need to return to Development
Review Committee. Once complete, matter will be scheduled for next available Planning
Commission meeting.
ITEM 3 14855 Oka Road
Conditional Use Permit U-00-2
Requesting a modification of conditions of approval concerning the date when the three
existing portable classroom buildings are required to be removed on property zoned
R-1:8.
PROPERTY OWNER: Jewish Community Center
APPLICANT: Yavneh Day School
Deemed incomplete by Planning Department. Does not need to return to Development
Review Committee. Scheduled for Planning Commission meeting of Feb ruary 9, 2000.
Recommendation will be for denial.
