ATTENDANCE Members Present: Sandy Baily, Associate Planner Erwin Ordonez, Associate Planner Gary Chao, Assistant Planner Chris Riordan, Assistant Planner Julie Linney, Fire Department Tim Boyer, Parks Department Trish Duarte, Sr. Engineering Technician ITEM 1 300 College Avenue (Revised Plans) a. Zone Change Application Z-99-1 b. General Plan Amendment GP-99-1 c. Project Application PRJ-98-112 d. Negative Declaration ND-98-0011 Requesting approval of (a) Zone Change from HR- 2 ½ to RC, (b) General Plan Amendment from Hillside Residential to Open Space, c) and d) Architecture and Site and Conditional Use Permit approval to construct a second story addition to an existing building for new office space. If no significant environmental impacts are identified as a result of this project, a Negative Declaration will be recommended and an Environmental Impact Report will not be required. PROPERTY OWNER: California Province of the Society of Jesus APPLICANT: Ruth & Going, Inc. Deemed incomplete by Planning, Fire, and Engineering Departments. Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. Once complete, matter will be scheduled for next available Planning Commission meeting. ITEM 2 17435 and 17443 Farley Road a. Planned Development Application PD-99-1 b. Project Application PRJ-98-171 c. Negative Declaration ND-99-0002 Requesting approval of a Planned Development to change the zone from LM to LM:PD to construct a two story research and development building with underground parking, and an Architecture and Site application to demolish two pre -1941 structures and convert a single family residence to a triplex. If no significant environmental impacts are identified as a result of this project, a Negative Declaration will be recommended and an Environmental Impact Report will not be required. PROPERTY OWNER: William Errico & Dennis Chegwin, Larry Schenbinske APPLICANT: C.E. Development Deemed incomplete by Planning and Parks & Forestry Departments. Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. Once complete and the initial study is drafted, the matter will be scheduled for the next available Planning Commission meeting. ITEM 3 14240 Lora Drive (Revised Plans) Subdivision Application M-99-15 Requesting approval of a two lot subdivision on property zoned R:1-8. PROPERTY OWNER: Tim Lynch APPLICANT: Terence Szewczyk Deemed incomplete by Planning, Parks & Forestry, Fire, and Engineering Departments. Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. Once complete, notices will be mailed. ITEM 4 Calle Marguerita a. Development Application PD-99-002 b. Negative Declaration ND-99-10 Request for approval of a zone change from R-1:8 to RM:5-12:PD to construct nine townhouses. If no significant environmental impacts are identified as a result of this project, a Negative Declaration will be recommended and an Environmental Impact Report will not be required. PROPERTY OWNER: Union Bank of California, Trustee et al APPLICANT: Stern & Champion Homebuilders Applicant did not show. Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. Once complete, application will be denied and the matter will be scheduled for next available Planning Commission meeting. ITEM 8 15451 Francis Oaks Way (Revised Plans) Architecture and Site Application S-99-41 Requesting approval to construct a new single family residence on property zoned HR -1. PROPERTY OWNER: Bill White APPLICANT: T.H.I.S. Design Deemed incomplete by Parks & Forestry, Engineering, and Planning Departments. If no significant environmental impacts are identified as a result of this project, a Negative Declaration will be recommended and an Environmental Impact Report will not be required.
