The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos conducted a Regular Meeting on
Monday, November 20, 2006 at 7:00 P.M.

Present: Council Member Steve Glickman, Vice Mayor Joe Pirzynski, Council

Commendation Los Gatos Prepared - Recognition of CERT and host site
participants.
Mayor Diane McNutt presented Bill Mercer, the Los Gatos CERT Team, and
staff with a commendation for the Los Gatos Prepared campaign held in October,
2006.

4. Oak Meadow Park Retaining Wall Replacement Project (0715) (PPW

a. Amend Capital Improvement Program Budget to advance Oak
Meadow Park Retaining Wall Replacement Project (0715) from the
planned project timeline of Fiscal Year 2008/09 to the current Fiscal
Year 2006/07 (PPW Job No. 04-16)
b. Authorize budget revenue adjustment of $15,000 from State
Proposition 12 Park Bond Funds to Oak Meadow Park Retaining Wall
Replacement Project (410-0715)
c. Authorize use of $11,500 from reserve for Future Year’s Capital
Projects Fund for the Oak Meadow Park Retaining Wall Replacement

professional service shops in the downtown area.

APPOINTMENT OF MAYOR AND VICE MAYOR

Commented on her year as a Mayor.
Commented regarding the process for nominating a new Mayor and
Vice Mayor.
MOTION: Motion by Mayor Diane McNutt to appoint Vice Mayor Joe
Pirzynski as the 59th Mayor for the Town of Los Gatos.
Seconded by Council Member Mike Wasserman.
VOTE:Motion passed unanimously.

Barbara Spector as Vice Mayor of the Town of Los Gatos.

Thanked Mayor Pirzynski and Council for giving her the
opportunity to serve as Vice Mayor.
Commented on her continued stewardship regarding the
community of Los Gatos.

Presented Council Member Diane McNutt with the ceremonial
Mayors plaque, and a video produced by Town staff in honor of her
achievements in the past year.
Commented on her help with the Katrina Consortium and her
leadership in the Los Gatos Prepared campaign.

Thanked the Council, staff, her family, and the community for all
their support.
Mayor Joe Pirzynski introduced Congressman Mike Honda.
Congressman Mike Honda administered the ceremonial swearing in for Mayor
Joe Pirzynski and Vice Mayor Barbara Spector.
Mayor Joe Pirzynski invited the community for cake and to celebrate
"DEMOCRACY IN ACTION.”
