M 02-24-96 STTOWN OF LOS GATOS CALIFORNIA JOINT MEETING TOWN COUNCIL/TOWN BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS STUDY SESSION February 24, 1996 Minutes TOWN COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY The Town Council/Redevelopment Agency of the Town of Los Gatos met in the Council Chambers of the Town Hall, 110 East Main Street, at 8:30 A.M., Saturday February 24, 1996, in study session, with Parking Commission, Historic Preservation Committee, Redevelopment Advisory Committee, Planning Commission, Trails and Bikeways Committee, Park Commission, Library Board, Arts Commission, Community Services Commission. ATTENDANCE Present:Mayor/Chairman Randy Attaway, Joanne Benjamin, Linda Lubeck, Patrick O'Laughlin, Town Manager/Executive Director, Dave Knapp, Town Department Heads, members of the Boards and Commissions and members of the public. CALL TO ORDER AND PUBLIC COMMENT No one chose to make public comment. DISCUSSIONS Council/Agency, Boards and Commissions discussed items included on the agenda noting the following: The impact of the demolition ordinance on the budget; The acceptable procedure for upholding Planning Commission's decisions; The criteria for architectural standards; The restaurant ordinance revisions; The provision to accommodate families in the BMP; The sign ordinance amendment; The reconsideration of housing policies; The consideration of homeowners' associations common areas maintenance; The required deposit for major development applications; The Master Plan for Trails and Bikeways to be put in circulation; The cost of trails maintenance; Consideration of the revenue possibilities in parks.
