ORDINANCE DEFINING "RETAIL" AND 'OFFICE" AS
USED IN TABLE 33 -A OF THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE
The Town Council of Los Gatos hereby ORDAINS:
SECTION 1.
Section 7.02.015 is added to the Town Code as follows:
"SEC. 7.02.015. DEFINITIONS UNDER TABLE 33 -A.
(a) The term "Stores - Retail Sales" as used in Table 33 -A of the
Uniform Building Code shall be defined as follows:
(1) Retailing as defined by example in §4.54.020 of the Zoning
Ordinance, and including any use which collects any retail sales tax.
(2) Personal service businesses and service businesses necessary
for the conduct of households, as defined in §4.54.020 of the Zoning Ordinance.
(b) The term "Office" as used in Table 33 -A of the Uniform Building
Code shall be defined as follows: The uses listed in §4.52.020(1) of the
Zoning Ordinance."
SECTION 2.
This Ordinance takes effect 30 days after the date it is adopted. Within 15
days after this ordinance is adopted, the Town Clerk shall cause it to be published
once in a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the Town.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos on June 7th; 1982 , and adopted by the following vote
as an ordinance of the Town of Los Gatos at a regular meeting of the Town Council
