In regards to the Planning Commission's commentary on January 9th, 2019, we have prepared
the below response:
1. We agree to limit live entertainment to acoustic only.
2. We would like the option to have outdoor speakers for music. We are happy to comply
with the Town's Late Night Entertainment Policy that states businesses may have
"entertainment by right before 10:00 p.m. and entertainment after 10:00 p.m. with a late
night entertainment permit, given that the operator complies with the Town's adopted
Noise Ordinance."
We have read and are very familiar with the Town's Municipal Code including the Noise
Ordinance (Article II, Sections 16.20.010 - 16.20.040) as well as the Entertainment &
Late Night Entertainment Policy and agree to stay within the guidelines specified therein.
3. We have reached out to the neighbors both via email (we only have a few email
addresses but encouraged disseminating the information) and through postcards. We
have scheduled an open forum for Monday, February 11th from 6-8pm. The goal of this
meeting is to better describe our business, how it is different from other establishments,
and why we think it fits the neighborhood. Our hope is that we can reach a friendly
understanding with our neighbors.
As it relates to prescriptive rights for access to the property, we asked the landowner for any
documentation but none were produced. We were told that there is a precedent for the shared
parking lot. Parking spaces are clearly marked with signs so it becomes a matter of
enforcement. We have shown our portion of the parking lot to be in compliance with the Town's
parking requirements.

Who we are:
• Founded in 2016 by Los Gatos natives
• Original location is a production brewery
and taproom in San Jose
• New Los Gatos location will be a taproom and
beer garden with a light food menu
Who we are NOT:
• A bar
• Open late
What to expect:
• Some minor changes to the parking lot
including removal of an unhealthy tree
• A family friendly place to enjoy a pint and a
bite!
