RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER /
CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos,
California, as follows:
1. That the public interest, convenience and necessity
require and that it is the intention of this Council to make the
following changes and modifications in Resolution of Intention
to Acquire and Construct Certain Improvements in and for the
Town of Los Gatos, adopted September 13, 1948, by this Council,
as said Resolution was amended on February 7, 1949;
(a) Add to the work and improvements specified
to be done therein the additional work and
improvements described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and by reference made a
part hereof.
(b) Add to the assessment district described
described therein the property described in Ex-
hibit "B" attached hereto and by reference
made a part hereof.
(c) Change section 26 thereof to read as follows:
"Notice is hereby given that serial bonds
to represent unpaid assessments, and bear
interest at the rate of not to exceed six per
cent (61,o) per annum, will be issued hereunder
in the manner provided by the Improvement
Bond Act of 1915, the last installment of
which bonds shall mature fourteen (14) years
from the second day of July next succeeding
ten months from their date."
2. That the public interest convenience and necessity
require, and that it is the intention of this Council to direct
the Town Engineer to change the map of the assessment district,

require, and that it is the intention of this Council to direct
the Town Engineer to modify his Report filed pursuant to said
Resolution of Intention, as amended, as follows:
(a) Modify plans and specifications of the
proposed improvements to include the
aforesaid additional work and improve-
ments.
(b) Change and modify the Engineer's state-
ment:.of the itemized and total estimated
costs and expenses of said improvements
and of the incidental expenses in con-
nection therewith to include the costs
of said additional work and improvements,
bringing the total estimated cost of said
revised project to $2of. 118. o o .
(c) Revise the diagram showing the assess-
ment district to include the aforesaid
additional property.
(d) Change and modify the proposed assess-
ment of the total amount of the cost
and expenses of the proposed improve-
ments to include assessments upon the
additional property in proportion to the
estimated benefits to be received by
such property.
4. That Monday, the 4th day of April, 1549, at the
of eight o'clock P. M., in the Town Hall, Los Gatos, California,
is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where this Council

the proposed modifications may be filed with the Town Clerk by
any interested person before the date set for hearing.
5. A copy of this resolution shall be published once
in the Los Gatos Times, the newspaper in which the notice of
local improvement was published, at least ten days before the
date set for hearing.
I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of
resolution adopted by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos,
California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the Q / day

EXHIBIT "A"
1. That Jones Road between College alvle_y and the southerly
line of Canyon View Terrace Subdivision, including intersections,
be improved by grading and constructing therein water -bound rock
macadam base pavement with asphaltic wearing surface, concrete
storm drain pipe with valley gutter at intersection with Euclid
Avenue, sanitary sewer mains with house sewer laterals, manholes
and risers.
2. That Euclid Avenue for its entire length, including
intersections, be improved by grading and c

3. That Oak Grove Way for its entire length, including
Intersections, be improved by grading and constructing therein
water -bound rock macadam base pavement with asphaltic wearing
surface, rolled concrete curbs and gutters excepting for steep
portion thereof, sanitary sewer mains terminating at a point on
the westerly line thereof with provision for future connection
with main trunk sewer, together with house sewer laterals, man-
holes, riser and catch basins, concrete storm drain pipe across
said road and through right of way to be acquired as shown on
map thereof on file in the office of the Town Clerk, and an
underground tile drainage system along the easterly side of said
street for approximately 500 feet from the southerly end thereof.
4. That Pageant Way for its entire length be improved by
constructing therein water -bound rock macadam base pavement with

BEGINNING at the intersection of the west line of
that portion of College Avenue formerly known as Wilcox
Avenue with the southerly line of East Main Street; thence
in a general southerly, westerly and easterly direction fol-
lowing the said westerly line of College Avenue to the
northerly line of the Canyon View Terrace Subdivision;
thence easterly and southerly along the northerly and
westerly exterior boundary of said subdivision to the
northwesterly corner of Tract 330; thence southerly and
easterly along the westerly and southerly line of said
tract, the continuation thereof easterly as the southerly
line of Canyon View Terrace Subdivision, and the continua-
tion of said southerly line easterly to the westerly line
of the Flume right of way of the San Jose Water Works;
thence in a general northerly and easterly direction along
said westerly line to the center line of College Avenue;
thence northerly along said center line to a point dis-
tant thereon 659.44 feet southeasterly from the intersec-
tion thereof with the easterly extension of the northerly
line of the Canyon View Terrace Subdivision; thence South
36° 18' 02" West 105.1 feet North 500 49' 24" West,
94.42 feet, North 650 43' 40�' West 142.16 feet, North 26°
10' 30" West 115.65 feet, North 1° 0 ' 35 West 138.14
feet, North 350 48' 17" East 106.14 feet, and North 870 37'
57" East 151.70 feet to the easterly line of College Avenue;
thence in a general northerly and easterly direction along
said easterly line of College Avenue and the continuation
thereof along the street formerly known as Wilcox Avenue to
the southerly line of East Main Street; thence easterly along
said southerly line which line is also a boundary line of
the assessment district under Resolution dated 13 September
1948, as amended, to a point on the southerly line of East
Main Street distant thereon 100 feet westerly from the west-
erly line of Pageant Way (formerly known as Seanor Street) and
running thence southerly along the westerly line of the
land now or formerly of Spotswood and continuing on the pro-
jection southerly of said westerly line to the southerly line
of lands now or formerly of Gallant, thence southerly along
the northwesterly and westerly line of said land of Gallant
to the northerly line of Villa Avenue, thence easterly along
the northerly line of Villa Avenue to a point distant thereon
100 feet easterly from the easterly line of Pageant Way,
thence northerly to a point on the southerly line of East
Main Street distant thereon 100 feet easterly from the east-
erly line of Pageant Way, and continuing northerly along the
northerly projection of said line to the northerly line of
East Main Street, thence westerly along said northerly line
which line is also a boundary line of the assessment district
under Resolution dated 13 September 1948, as amended, to
the projection northerly of the westerly line of said College
Avenue, thence southerly along said northerly projection to
