RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
CONCERNING RESTAURANTS AND BARS WHICH WERE DISPLACED
BY THE OCTOBER 17, 1989 EARTHQUAKE
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos to
modify Town policy which currently requires displaced restaurants and bars with
Conditional Use Permits to reopen within one -year of closure and nonconforming
restaurants and bars to reopen within 180 days of closure.
RESOLVED, that the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos does hereby adopt
the Policy Statement as shown on the attached Exhibit 'W' as the policy of the Town of Los
Gatos.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos this 1st day of October 1, 1990 by the following vote:
COUNCIL MEMBERS:
AYES: Joanne Benjamin, Eric D. Carlson, Robert L. Hamilton,
Brent N. Ventura, and Mayor Thomas J. Ferrito
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.

being completed on the buildings they are located in:

These businesses have 180 days from the date final occupancy is granted for the affected
buildings in which to reopen.
