RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
DECLARING CERTAIN TOWN PROPERTY AS
SURPLUS FOR TOWN AUCTION
WHEREAS, during the later part of each summer the Town holds a public
auction to dispose of Town surplus property, abandoned and unclaimed property taken into
the Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the auction enables the Town to dispose of fixed asset items
replaced through the budget process and to offer at public bid, accumulated unclaimed
personal property such as bicycles turned into the Police Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Council declares certain Town
property (referred to in Exhibit A - Notice of Auction) to be surplus.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 10th day of July, 1989 by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS Mayor Joanne Benjamin, Eric D. Carlson,
Thomas J. Ferrito, Robert L. Hamilton
