RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF LOS GATOS APPROVING THE POSTING
OF NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH SIGNS IN RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOODS.
WHEREAS, The Los Gatos Police Department desires to establish an
effective Town -wide crime control network among residents known as Neighborhood
Watch; and
WHEREAS, the placement of Neighborhood Watch signs at the entrance to
participating neighborhoods has been proven to be a deterrent to criminal
activity,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Town
Council of the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of California,
that the Chief of Police is authorized to place Neighborhood Watch signs at the
entrances of participating neighborhoods.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of
the Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 6 day of September
1988, by the following vote.
