A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION
FOR THE NON- ELECTED DUTIES OF THE TOWN CLERK
WHEREAS, Section 2 -10.1 of the Town Code provides that the Town Council conduct
an annual review of the performance and salary of the Town Clerk; and
WHEREAS, that same Town Code section provides that the Council shall establish
compensation for the Town Clerk upon completion of the evaluation; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council has completed that evaluation; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to set the compensation for elected duties
separately from the compensation for non - elected duties of the Town Clerk;
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: The annual salary for the Town Clerk, effective June 28,
1987 continues to be $15,000 for elected duties plus the additional amount of
$24,208 for non - elected duties and that the Town shall contribute seven (7) percent
of the Clerk's total salary to the Town Retirement Plan as the "employee -paid
contribution "; and
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED: That any other compensation in effect June 28, 1987,
including participation in the Town Retirement Plan, shall remain in force at those
levels through the balance of the fiscal year 1987 -88, including a monthly
automobile allowance of $200.00.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 17th day of August , 1987
by the following vote.

L. Hamilton, and Mayor Brent N. Ventura
