A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION
FOR THE NON - ELECTED DUTIES OF THE TOWN CLERK
WHEREAS, Section 2 -1001 of the Town code provides that the Town Council conduct
an annual review of the performance and salary of the Town Clerks and
WHEREAS, That same Town Code Section provides that the Council shall establish
compensation for the Town Clerk upon completion of the evaluation, and
WHEREAS, The Town Council has completed that evaluation; and
WHEREAS, The Town Council desires to set the compensation for elected duties
separately form the compensation for non - elected duties of the Town
Clerk;
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:
The annual salary for the Town Clerk, effective July 1, 1986, continue to be $15,000
for elected duties plus the additional amount of $22,830 for non - elected duties and
that the Town shall contribute seven (7) percent of the clerk's total salary to the
Town Retirement Plan as the "employee -paid contribution "; and
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED
That any other compensation in effect June 30, 1986, including participation in the
Town Retirement Plan, shall remain in force at those levels through the balance of
the fiscal year 1986 -87 except that the automobile allowance shall be the difference
between the management compensation plan and the allowance for elected duties of the
clerk for a total of $200,00,
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting Of the Town Council of the
Town Of [0s Gatos, California, held on the 4th day of May, 1887 by the
following vote.

Thomas J. Ferrito, Robert L Hamilton, Mayor Brent N
Ventura.
