A RESOLUTION CONTINUING THE WAGES, HOURS AND WORKING
CONDITIONS WITH TOWN EMPLOYEE ASSOCIATIONS
WHEREAS, in accordance with Resolution 1974 -41 the Town has been meeting
and conferring with the recognized employee associations,
(Town Employees Association (TEA); Police Officers Association
(PDA) American Federation of State Municipal Employees (AFSCME)),
regarding wages, hours, and working conditions; and
WHEREAS, the representatives of the employee associations and the
representatives of management have been meeting and conferring
in good faith in an attempt to reach an agreement which would
be incorporated into a revised Memorandum of Understanding
with each association; and
WHEREAS, the existing M.O.U.'s expire on midnight June 30, 1986; and
WHEREAS, the discussions between the Town and the employees associations
are not completed; and
WHEREAS, in order to establish wages, hours and working conditions
effective July 1, 1986 it is recommended that the existing
wages, hours, and working conditions be extended until discussions
between the Town and the employee associations are completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Los
Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that this
resolution is adopted extending the provisions of the existing
Memoranda of Understanding with the Town's recognized employee
associations ,(TEA, POA, AFSCME) until the meet and confer
sessions are completed and /or the Town Council considers
revised Memoranda of Understanding.

the Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 30th day of June 1986,
by the following vote:
