RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION DECLARING WORK
PERIODS UNDER THE FEDERAL LABOR STANDARDS ACT
WHEREAS:
The Town Council declared work periods required by the Federal Labor
Standards Act (FLSA) by Resolution No. 1985 -731 on August 19, 1985;
The Federal government passed legislation in November, 1985 delaying
implementation of FLSA until April 15, 1986;
The Town Council is now desirous of amendina the declared work periods
with an effective date of April 15, 1986;
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:
The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos does hereby declare the
following work periods:
Elected Officials
Management Personnel
Non - Management Sworn
(Police) Personnel:
Patrol Officers
Personnel & Training Officer
Sergeants
Detectives
All other Town employees
Exempt
Exempt
24 Day Work Period /147 Hours
7 Day Work Period /40 Hours
7 Day Work Period /40 Hours
7 Day Work Period /40 Hours
7 Day Work Period /40 Hours
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos held on theme ay of April 1986 by the
following vote:

Brent N. Ventura, Mayor Terrence J. Daily
