A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION
FOR THE NON- ELECTED DUTIES OF TOWN CLERK
WHEREAS:
Section 2 -10.1 of the Town Code provides that the Town Council
conduct an annual review of the performance and salary of the
Town Clerk; and
WHEREAS:
That same Town Code Section provides that the Council shall
establish compensation for the Town Clerk upon completion of
the evaluation; and
WHEREAS:
The Town Council has completed that evaluation; and
WHEREAS:
The Town Council desires to set the compensation for elected duties
separately from the compensation for non - elected duties of the Town
Clerk;
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:
The annual salary for the Town Clerk, effective July 1, 1985,
continue to be $15,000 for elected duties plus the additional
amount of $21,330 for non - elected duties and that the Town shall
contribute seven (7) percent of the clerk's total salary to the
Town Retirement Plan as the "employee -paid contribution "; and
