RESOLUTION REFERRING TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION
THE APPEAL OF THE DECISION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
DENYING ARCHITECTURE AND SITE APPLICATION
(121 Madera Court - Wm. J. Del Carlo)
WHEREAS:
1. Applicant Wm. J. Del Carlo has appealed a decision of the Planning
Commission as follows: denial of Architecture and Site Application S -84 -62
requesting approval of plans for construction of a single family residence
HR -2 -1/2 Zone at 121 Madera Court; and,
2. A public hearing was held by the Council on September 16, 1985;
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:
1. The Town Council hereby finds that the matter should be referred to the
Planning Commission with review by the Development Review Committee for a
redesign based on the following considerations:
a. building footprint and pad be reduced;
b. house be redesigned to step down the hillside to reduce
visibility;
c. roofline be redesigned to reduce visibility;
d. find ways to lessen proposed grading and fill; and
e. change the screening by not using potted plants.
2. Based on the foregoing finding, the appeal is referred to the Planning
Commission with review by the Development Review Committee in accordance
with Council direction.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of
October 1985 by
the Town of Los Gatos held on the 21st day of
the following vote:
