A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR CONSIDERATION OF
ESTABLISHING UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT 85 -2, PROJECT 319
ALONG SOUTH SANTA CRUZ AVENUE (WOOD ROAD TO BROADWAY)
WHEREAS, Article III of Chapter 32 (Sections 32 -14 through 32 -23) of the Los
Gatos Town Code, provides procedures for the establishment of Underground Utility
Districts and requires a public hearing for consideration of such district; and
WHEREAS, the Town has proposed the establishment of Underground Utility District
85 -2, Project No. 319 and has recommended that the boundaries of said District be as
described in the notice of hearinq attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the 15th day of July, 1985, at the hour of
8:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center, 110 East Main Street, Los
Gatos, California, is hereby established as the date, time and place of a public
hearing by the Town Council to consider the establishment of said Underground
Utility District 85 -2, Project No. 319.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Clerk is hereby directed to notify all
affected property owners and utilities, at least thirty (30) days in advance of said
hearino, by mailing each a "Notice of Hearing" in the same form as that notice
annexed hereto.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos held on 20th day of May 1985 by the

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos has set
the hour of 8:00 p.m., on Monday, the 15th day of July, 1985, in the Council
Chambers, Town Hall, 110 East Main Street, Los Gatos, as the time and place for
public hearing to ascertain whether the public necessity, health or safety
requires the removal of poles and overhead wires and associates overhead
structures from the public streets, alleys, or ways, and the underground
installation of wires and facilities for supplying electric, communication, or
similar or associated services, within the area designated "Underground Utility
District 85 -2, Project No. 319" a description of which is attached hereto as
Exhibit "A" and map of Underground Utility District 85 -2 as Exhibit "B ", and
are made a part hereof by reference.

BEGINNING at a point on the Southwesterly line of Broadway said point also being the
most Northerly corner of that parcel of land from Johnson to Johnson, recorded in
Book 1 186 of Official Records, Pages 444 -446, Santa Clara County Records;thence
Southwesterly 136+ feet along the Northeasterly line described in said deed to
Johnson; thence at right angles from said Southeasterly, 136 feet; thence
Northwesterly at right angles, 10 feet +; thence Southwesterly at right angles, 14
feet +; thence N 62' W, 262.90 feet to the most Northerly corner on that parcel of
land from Larson to McKellar Development Corporation, recorded in Book C 520 of
Official Records, Pages 5 -8, Santa Clara County Records; thence leaving said corner
