RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS CALLING A SPECIAL
MUNICIPAL ELECT ON i0 BE HELD ON JUNE 5, 1984 REQUESTING
THE CONSOLIDATION OF SAID ELECTION WITH THE PRIMARY
ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SANTA CLARA COUNTY JUNE 5, 1984
RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos:
SECTION 1. The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos calls a special
municipal election to be held on June 5th, 1984, for the purpose of submitting
to the electors of the Town of Los Gatos the measure which is hereinafter set
forth in this resolution.
In accordance with the provisions of Section 23302 of the Elections
Code of the State of California, the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos requests
the Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara, California to consolidate
the special municipal election with the Primary Election which is to be held in
Santa Clara County on Tuesday, June 5, 1984.
The election precincts, polling places, voting booths and election
officers for the above - mentioned special municipal election shall be the same as
those provided for the above - mentioned Primary Election, in the Town of Los Gatos.
The Board of Supervisors of Santa Clara County is requested to consolidate
said election and to provide that the canvass be made by any body or official
authorized by law to canvass the returns of the election and this governing body
consents to such consolidation.
Pursuant to Section 10219 of the Elections Code of the State of
California, the Town Clerk of the Town of Los Gatos and the Clerk of the County
of Santa Clara are hereby authorized to agree to use, and to use, a letter design-
ation for the Town ballot measures that will not conflict with any other measures
or confuse the voters.
The Town Clerk is ordered to give such notice of said election, and of
the hereinafter specified measures, as is required by law, and to do all other
things required by law to hold the special municipal election above provided, and
to submit the measures in this resolution to the electors of the Town of Los
Gatos at the election.
SECTION 2. The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos orders and
directs that the following measures be submitted to the electors of the Town of
Los Gatos for their approval or disapproval at the special municipal election,
specified in Section 1 of this resolution, which is to be held on June 5, 1984:
Shall the people of the Town of Los
Gatos enact
an ordinance to read: "An owner of
any real

rented, transferred, or exchanged.
The Town of Los Gatos shall have no

The Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to certify to the
adoption of this resolution and to transmit a certified copy to the Board of
Supervisors of the County and to the Registrar of Voters of the County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos this 21st day of February, 1984, by the following votes:
