RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FURTHER AMENDMENTS TO AGREEMENT
FOR DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY DATED OCTOBER 27, 1982
WHEREAS:
1. The Town of Los Gatos and Villa Vasona, Ltd, entered into an
Agreement for Disposition of Property dated October 27, 1982; and
2. Certain amendments to the aforesaid Agreement were approved on
March 21, 1983 in Resolution No. 1983 -57; and
3. The Department of Housing and Urban Development has objected to
the Occupancy Preference System as amended on March 21, 1983, and suggested
revised language, which is acceptable to the Town;
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED:
The Mayor is authorized to execute the attached Second Amendment
to the Agreement for Disposition of Property dated October 27, 1982.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos this 4th day of April, 1983, by the following vote:

SECOND ANENT TO AGREEMIT FOR DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY
DATED OCTOBER 27, 1982
The Town of Las Gatos ( "Town ") and Villa Vasona, Ltd. ( "Developer ") hereby
amend their Agreement for Disposition of Property dated October 27, 1982, to sub-
stitute the Occupancy Preference System attached hereto as Exhibit A in place of the
prior Exhibit A to said Agreement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this Agreement on the dates
set forth below.

AFFIRMATIVE FAIR HOUSING MARKETING PLAN
TOWN OF LOS GATOS
A. OCCUPANCY PREFERENCE SYSTEM
(1) Senior citizens who are residents of the Town of Los Gatos. For the
purpose of initial occupancy only, "residents of the Town of Los Gatos"
shall include persons who were residents of Los Gatos on December 15,
1980, who have moved from Los Gatos since that date, and who then
qualified as "elderly" under HUD regulations.
(2) All other senior applicants eligible according to income criteria.
(3) Handicapped persons will be given preference over non- handicapped
persons for those units especially designed for the handicapped.
The residency preference for elderly residents of Los Gatos has been estab-
lished in accordance with HUD regulations in 24 CFR Section 680.603.
B. AFFIRMATIVE FAIR HOUSING MARKETING PLAN
Developer shall conduct advance affirmative fair housing marketing to stimulate
applications from those ethnic groups least likely to apply. In so doing,
contact shall be made with minority organizations in Los Gatos and vicinity
that will be helpful in disseminating information about Villa Vasona to those
least likely to apply; advertisements and news items will be placed in commer-
cial media that have minority following. A fair housing poster and logo will
be prominently displayed on site and in publicity materials. The objective
of affirmative marketing will be the occupancy of at least 20% of the dwelling
units by minority households.
The Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing Plan shall meet HUD requirements in
24 CFR Part 200, Subpart M. The Occupancy Preference System set forth shove
shall be administered in a manner which is not inconsistent with the affirma-
tive fair housing marketing objectives and the Developer's HUD- approved
Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing Plan.
