A RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT RE PROPOSED
BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENT
BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos does
hereby approve and authorize execution of the AGREEMENT RE PROPOSED
BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENT between the TOWN OF LOS GATOS and the CITY OF
MONTE SERENO (a copy of which is attached hereto and by reference made
a part hereof); and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is authorized and is
hereby directed to execute said agreement on behalf of the Town.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos,
California, at a regular meeting held this 1st day of June, 1981, by
the following vote:

AGREEMENT RE PROPOSED BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENT
The Town of Los Gatos ( "Town" herein) and the City of Monte
Sereno ( "City" herein) hereby agrees as follows:
RECITALS:
1. The home of Mrs. Sylvia Lewis, 140 Creffield Heights, is bi-
sected by the boundary between Town and City.
2. Mrs. Lewis is registered to vote in the Town and receives her
mail through the Town.
3. Mrs. Lewis' home is in need of rehabilitation, and Mrs.
Lewis meets the income criteria for the Town's Rehabilitation Pro-
gram. However, Program funds can be spent only on property that
is wholly in the Town.
L. The Rehabilitation funds tentatively approved for Mrs. Lewis
must be finally approved before June 30, 1981, the end of the
Town's fiscal year, or the funds will have to be returned to the
federal government.
AGREEMENTS:
In consideration of the foregoing Recitals, and of their mu-
tual promises hereunder, the parties agree as follows:
1. The Town shall apply to LAFCO for a boundary adjustment,
and shall handle all processing and pay all fees to carry said ad-
iustment to completion.
2. The City hereby consents to said adjustment and agrees to
cooperate in obtaining the same, provided that it imposes no cost
or administrative burden on the City.

3. The parties agree that the rehabilitation of Mrs. Letiois'
home may proceed on the assumption that the boundary adjustment
will be completed. Accordingly, the Town shall be responsible
for a building permit and all necessary inspections, and shall al-
so collect its usual fees therefor
in accordance with the Town Code
Construction shall be completed
Copies of any pertinent papers
shall be supplied to the City upon request.
4. As of the date of final execution of this Agreement,
the Town shall also assume responsibility for all municipal ser-
vices to the Lewis property.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties have hereunto set their hands
