A RESOLUTION ADOPTING BUDGET FOR FISCAL
YEAR 1980 -1981
WHEREAS, Section 2 -20(f) of the Los Gatos Town Code requires the Manager to
annually prepare and submit a budget to the Town Council and be responsible for
its administration; and
WHEREAS, the Town Manager did submit a proposed budget for the 1980 -81
fiscal year to the Town Council on May 30, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council has considered and reviewed said proposed budget
during public meetings for such purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Town Council
of the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that the
Town Council hereby adopts as the final budget for the Town of Los Gatos during
the 1980 -81 fiscal year that schedule entitled "Summary of Appropriations," show-
ing in the last column thereof the Council- approved appropriations for each
individual department, program and function within the Town Government, and those
summary sheets for each individual department, program and function, the last
column on each of which describes the authorized appropriation for salaries and
wages, materials, supplies and services, other charges, capital outlay and debt
service, said schedule for expenditure during the 1980 -81 fiscal year under the
administration and supervision of the Town Manager and the various officers as
provided by law the total sum of $7,110,077, to be expended within the limits of
those above described category appropriations shown in the last column of each of
the summary sheets for the respective departments, programs and functions attached
hereto.

PASSED AND ADOPTED at a /regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Los Gatos, held on the 23rd day of June 1980, by the following
vote:

Ventura and Thomas J. Ferrito
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS Ruth Cannot and Marlyn J.
Rasmussen
