RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
COMMENDING SHIRLEY A. EGAN
FOR 25 YEARS OF SERVICE
TO THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
WHEREAS, SHIRLEY A. EGAN has served the Town of Los Gatos for 25 years; and
WHEREAS, SHIRLEY A. EGAN retired December 28, 1990; and
WHEREAS, SHIRLEY A. EGAN is contributing to the Town's goal of providing
quality services to the community by performing her responsibilities as Library Assistant II
in the Library; and
WHEREAS, SHIRLEY A. EGAN channeled her considerable energy into providing
helpful and responsive service to patrons of the Los Gatos Public Library; and
WHEREAS, SHIRLEY A. EGAN showed careful attention to detail in filing and
withdrawing cards from the public catalog; and
WHEREAS, SHIRLEY A. EGAN demonstrated sound judgement and broad
knowledge of books and music in her work with donated material;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Los Gatos Town Council does
hereby render, with special appreciation, commendation and thanks to SHIRLEY A. EGAN
for her years of dedicated public service to the Town of Los Gatos and its citizens.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos, California, held on the 7 th day of January, 1991 by the following vote:
