RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
INCREASING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS
ALLOCATED TO THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1991-92
AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION 1991-45
WHEREAS,
A. The Town of Los Gatos receives Community Development
Block Grant funds from the Department of Housing and
Urban Development (hereinafter "HUD") through the County
of Santa Clara as a non -entitlement city pursuant to the
provisions of Title I of the Housing and Community
Development Acts of 1974 and 1977, as amended;
B. The Community Services Commission has reviewed all
applications for funding from community agencies;
C. A Public Hearing was held by the Town Council on March
4, 1991;
D. The Town of Los Gatos has appropriated funds for
allocation to various community groups and Town operated
programs which provide services to the residents of the
Town of Los Gatos; and
E. The Town of Los Gatos has been notified of an increase
in the FY 1991-92 grant from $155,000 to $172,425; and
F. A transfer of funds from the Housing Conservation Program
to the Town's Affordable Housing Fund is necessary to
allow funding of the Town's other Housing Programs.
BE IT RESOLVED:
A. The Town Council hereby finds that funds are available
from CDBG for the FY 1991-92; and
B. The Town Council hereby transfers $40,000 from the FY
1990-91 Housing Conservation Program allocation to the
Affordable Housing Program;

C. The Town Council hereby transfers $10,000 from the FY
1989-90 Housing Conservation Program allocation to the
Affordable Housing Fund; and
D. The Town Council does hereby authorize the expenditure
of $172,425 to those CDBG programs set out in Exhibit A
for FY 1991-92.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that Resolution 1991-45 is rescinded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town
Council of the Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 1st day
of April, 1991, by the following vote:
