ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF LOS GATOS DENYING APPEAL OF THE EARTHQUAKE
DEMOLITION COMMI r1'EE'S DECISION TO DENY A DEMOLITION
PERMIT FOR A HISTORICALLY DESIGNATED SINGLE-FAMILY
RESIDENCE.

WHEREAS:
A. Evan Judd, Attorney for the Estate of Mabel Guess, has appealed a decision
of the Earthquake Demolition Committee to demolish a historically designated pre-1900
single-family residence due to earthquake damage.
B. A public hearing was held and concluded on February 19, 1991.
C. Since the appeal was filed the property has been sold and the new owner has
requested that the appeal be dismissed.
BE IT RESOLVED, based on the foregoing findings the Town Council denies the
appeal.
Pursuant to Los Gatos Town Code Section 1-15, the time for seeking judicial review
for the Town Council decision is governed by California Code of Civil Procedure Section
1094.6.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos, California, held on the 4th day of March, 1991 by the following vote.
