RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
ENDORSING FRIENDS OF THE ARTS
FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN FOR PURCHASE OF
"A SPACE DANCE FOR PEACE IV" ART SCULPTURE
WHEREAS, in December, 1988, the artist Paul Goreniuc
loaned his art sculpture entitled "A Space Dance for Peace IV" to
the Town; and
WHEREAS, the Friends of the Arts have elected to initiate
a fund raising campaign for purchase of the sculpture; and
WHEREAS, Town Council wishes to encourage such grass-
roots efforts for the purchase of artwork in public places;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE: that it endorses the fundraising campaign
being conducted by Friends of the Arts to purchase "A Space Dance
for Peace IV" by artist Paul Goreniuc.
