RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
CONCERNING AMENDMENTS TO THE GENERAL PLAN
REGARDING CHANGE OF LAND USE FOR 16221 KENNEDY ROAD
WHEREAS, pursuant to provisions of Government Code Section 65355, the Town
Council of the Town of Los Gatos conducted a public hearing for consideration of
amendments to the General Plan on April 15, 1991.
WHEREAS, during these hearings the Town Council considered General Plan
Amendment GP-90-6 relating to change of land use.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission considered this matter on January 9, and
February 27, 1991.
RESOLVED: The Town Council finds that the amendment will not have a
significant impact on the environment and that a Negative Declaration was prepared for the
amendment to the General Plan.
FURTHER RESOLVED: The Town Council finds that General Plan Amendment
GP-90-6 is consistent with the various elements of the General Plan and Hillside Specific
Plan since the amendment will provide needed housing and maintain an open space area.
FURTHER RESOLVED: The Town Council hereby amends the General Plan Land
Use Plan for the property located at 16221 Kennedy Road as shown on Exhibit A.

PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos this 15th day of April, 1991 by the following vote:
AYES: Randy Attaway, Joanne Benjamin, Steven Blanton, Eric D. Carlson,
and Mayor Brent N. Ventura
