RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
WITH THE IN I'ENTION TO VACA 1E A
STORM DRAINAGE EASEMENT LOCATED AT
101, 105 AND 109 JOHNSON HOLLOW
RESOLVED:
1. It is the intention of the Town Council to vacate, under the provisions of Division
9, Part 3 (Sections 8300 through 8331) of the Streets and Highways Code, a Storm
Drainage Easement situated in the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State
of California, consisting of a strip of land 10 feet wide and approximately 300 feet
long containing approximately 3000 square feet located at the northeasterly property
lines of 101, 105 and 109 Johnson Hollow, and more particularly described in Exhibit
"A" (Description of Storm Drainage Easement to be Abandoned by the Town of Los
Gatos), and Exhibit "B" (Map to Accompany Description of Storm Drainage
Easement to be Abandoned), copies of which are attached hereto. Said Exhibits
show the particulars as to the proposed abandonment, and are available for public
inspection in the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Los Gatos, Civic Center,
110 East Main Street, Los Gatos, California.
2. On May 20, 1991, in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center, 110 East Main
Street, Los Gatos, California, the Town Council will hold a public hearing to
consider whether or not the easement is necessary for present or prospective public
use. The meeting will begin at 7:30 P.M. All persons interested are invited to
attend and be heard.
3. The Town clerk is authorized, and is hereby directed to publish a notice of the
public hearing in a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the
Town of Los Gatos, for two successive weeks prior to the public hearing.

4. The Mayor of the Town of Los Gatos is authorized, and is hereby directed to
execute that document entitled, 'Notice of Abandonment of a Storm Drainage
Easement at 101, 105 and 109 Johnson Hollow", a copy of which is attached hereto,
and the Town Engineer is authorized and is hereby directed to conspicuously post
three (3) copies of said Notice, not more than 300 feet apart, at least two weeks
before the date of the public hearing above designated.

of Los Gatos held on the 15°}i day of April, 1991 by the following vote:

All that property situated in the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of
California, more particularly described as follows:
ALL of that certain 10 foot wide Storm Drainage Easement (S.D.E.) as shown
on Lots 1, 2 and 3 of that certain Map entitled "Map of Tract No. 7660, being
a portion of Rancho Rinconada de Los Gatos and also being a portion of
Section 21, R1W, M.D.M. and lying entirely within the Town of Los Gatos,
California", filed for record in Book 542 of Maps, pages 13, 14 and 15, on
April 22, 1985, Santa Clara County Records.
