RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AUTHORIZING THE TOWN
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES FOR IMPLEMENTATION
OF AN 'EMPLOYER PULL NOTICE PROGRAM"
WHEREAS: It is important that the Town determine driver's license and safety
status of employees who are required to operate Town vehicles; and
WHEREAS: The DMV Pull Notice Program provides a means for obtaining such
information and is required by state and federal law.
BE IT RESOLVED: The Town Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement
with the State of California Department of Motor Vehicles for Implementation of an
"Employer Pull Notice Program".
FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Town Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to sign and deliver all necessary requests and other documents in connection therewith for
an on behalf of the Town of Los Gatos
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos, California, held on the 15th day of April, 1991 by the following vote.
