RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AUTHORIZING THE
TOWN MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES
FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF AN "EMPLOYER STA IEMENT PROGRAM"
WHEREAS: The DMV will accept certificates of driving experience and/or training
issued by the Town in lieu of driving tests on Class A or Class B License applications when
the applicant is employed by the Town and has met the other requirements for the license
for which he or she is applying.
BE IT RESOLVED: The Town Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement
with the State of California Department of Motor Vehicles for Implementation of an
"Employer Statement Program".
FURTHER RESOLVED: The Town Manager is authorized and directed to sign and
deliver all necessary requests and other documents in connection therewith for and on
behalf of the Town of Los Gatos.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos, California, held on the 15th day of April, 1991 by the following vote.
