RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A
CONSULTANT AGREEMENT FOR
SOLID WASTE GENERATION STUDIES
WHEREAS, State legislation, under AB 939, requires every
city to adopt a Source Reduction and Recycling Element (S.R.R.E.);
and
WHEREAS, one of the required components of the S.R.R.E.
is a Solid Waste Generation Study; and
WHEREAS, the West Valley Cities and County staff
solicited proposals for joint solid waste generation studies; and
WHEREAS, West Valley Cities and County staff have
reviewed the proposal and determined that it is the most
appropriate and economical proposal.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: That the Town Manager be author-
ized to execute the agreement on behalf of the Town of Los Gatos
with Cal Recovery Systems for a Solid Waste Generation Study.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town
Council of the Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 20th day
of May, 1991, by the following vote:
