Subject: Capital Budget - Los Gatos Creek Trail along Charter Oaks Drive
Dear Town Council Member:
Please support the proposed project regarding the interface between Los Gatos Creek Trail and Charter Oaks
Drive utilizing federal funds and a portion of the Albright Community Benefit funds. We would prefer the
funds to be used to:
1) Improve the existing infrastructure such as asphalt and fencing using federal funds
2) Raise the trail to prevent future flooding
3) Provide landscaping, fences, and or signs to encourage trail users to stay on the trail and not use Charter
Oaks Dr. as an alternate route
These improvements will create a safe environment for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians.
Also, please reserve a portion of the Albright Community Fund for future traffic mitigation which may be
needed.
