RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR MARIA'S BERRY FARM - RESTORATION - PROJECT 9213
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos to
carry out the Erection and Restoration of Maria's Berry Farm in the Town of Los Gatos,
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Building and Engineering Services has presented Plans
and Specifications for the Restoration of Maria's Berry Farm.
RESOLVED, that these Plans and Specifications entitled "TOWN OF LOS GATOS
SPECIFICATIONS - Restoration of Maria's Berry Farm dated February 3, 1992, on file in
the Office of the Town Clerk, are hereby approved; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
advertise, as required by law, for the receipt of sealed bids or proposals for the doing of the
work specified in the aforesaid Plans and Specifications, which said advertisement shall be
substantially in accordance with the Notice to Bidders, attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council held on the
18th day of February, 1992, by the following vote:

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the Town Clerk, 110 E. Main St., Los Gatos, CA
95030, until
3:00 P.M. WEDNESDAY APRIL 1 1992
for PROJECT 9213 - RESTORATION OF MARIA'S BERRY FARM, at which time they will be --
publicly opened and read aloud.
This project consists of restoring an existing building that has been relocated. The following
information is presented to indicate the size of this project and no warrant is intended as to final
quantities.
1. Base Bid: Completion of work specified in plans and specifications including, but not limited
to:
Foundation, selective demolitions, replacement of walls and roof due to relocation,
replacement of exterior siding, refurbish existing windows /doors, replacement of missing
windows /doors, plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems, site utilities, site improvements,
wall board, fireplace, finishes, fixtures and equipment.
2. Alternate No. 1: Amount of decrease to base bid - deduct from base bid to reflect:
Do not provide any interior improvements beyond all rough systems up to and including
sheetrock tape and texture (no paint or finish carpentry). Provide all rough systems without
finish fittings including connections for heating, plumbing and electrical and include furnace,
water heater and panels (without circuit breakers).
3. Alternate No. 2: Amount of increase to base bid for:
Provide airconditioning condensing units including equipment pads and all connections
(concealed piping to be included in base bid).
A class "B" General Building License required.
Information for bidders, plans, specifications and forms for bidding this project may be obtained
from the Department of Engineering, 110 E. Main Street, Los Gatos, CA 95032, weekdays,
excluding holidays, between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon and between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Friday. A non - refundable fee of $25.00
will be charged per set.
