RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS TO REJECT
BIDS AND DIRECT STAFF TO NEGOTIATE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) NEW
1994 TRUCK MOUNTED CATCH BASIN & SEWER CLEANER
PURSUANT TO TOWN CODE SECTION 2.50.130(3)
WHEREAS, on November 10, 1993 Town received four bids; and
WHEREAS, bid through Mission Valley Ford Truck Sales, Inc. representing Super
Products was non- responsive; and
WHEREAS, based on research and conversations with factory representatives staff
concludes that the Town did not receive the best price available.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IF RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los
Gatos that all bids are rejected and staff is directed to negotiate and return to Council with
a report for purchase of one (1) new 1994 truck mounted catch basin & sewer cleaner,
pursuant to Town code section 2.50.130(3).
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos, California, held on the 3rd day of January, 1994 by the following vote:
