ORDINANCE NO. 1485 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AMENDING <br />THE ZONING ORDINANCE EFFECTING ZONE CHANGE NO. <br />46 FROM RM:5 -12 AND 0 TO RM:5 -12 -PD <br />THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. <br />The Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Los Gatos is hereby amended to <br />change the zoning of the property located between West Parr Avenue and Knowles <br />Drive, west of Capri Drive shown on the map which is attached hereto marked <br />Exhibit A and is a part of this ordinance, from RM:5 -12 (Multiple Family <br />Residential, 5 -12 units per net acre) and 0 (Office) to RM:5 -12 -PD <br />(Multiple Family Residential, 5 -12 units per net acre - Planned Development). <br />SECTION 2. <br />The PD (Planned Development Overlay) zone established by this ordinance <br />authorizes the following construction and use of improvements: <br />1. One hundred and fifteen (115) new and two -story dwelling <br />units to be developed under the Department of Housing and <br />Urban Development Section 8 Program, for low and moderate <br />income families and senior citizens. A total of 77 of these <br />shall be designated to families, while 38 shall be made <br />available to senior citizens, but the 16 one - bedroom units <br />shall be available to senior citizens and non senior citizens <br />on a first come, first served basis. <br />2. Parking for the family units at a ratio of 1.5 spaces per <br />unit minimum. Parking ratio for the senior citizens units shall <br />be a minimum of .55 spaces per unit. <br />3. Landscaping, parking and other improvements shown and required <br />on the Official Development Plan. <br />4. Uses permitted are those specified in the RM (Multiple Family) <br />zone of section 4.32.020 (Permitted Uses) and 4.32.030 <br />(Conditional Uses) of the Zoning Ordinance, as those sections <br />exist at the time of the adoption of this ordinance, or as <br />they may be amended in the future. However, no use listed <br />in section 4.32.030 is allowed unless specifically authorized <br />by this ordinance, or by conditional use permit. <br />12/4/80/oh <br />
