Installation Monthly <br />Service Charge Service Charge <br />For all Service Types <br />Additional Outlets $7.50 $3.50 <br />Reconnect Charges 7.50 - <br />Transfer Charge 7.50 - <br />Relocation of Outlets Cost of Time <br />and Material <br />Upon application by any subscriber who is 65 years of age or over, and <br />who is head of a household and who has been a subscriber for six (6) months <br />or more continuously, the monthly service charge for the first television <br />connection shall be $3.95 per month. <br />The installation charges include use of company -owned converter while <br />customer's account is active. <br />For new structures, the builder, developer., or subscriber will, at no <br />cost to Teleprompter, provide trenches for underground distribution and <br />service laterals; the prewiring of structures to receive cable television <br />service; necessary conduit and vaults, provided, however, that Teleprompter <br />shall provide the labor necessary for installation of conduit and vaults. <br />Teleprompter shall charge cable television subscribers only those fees <br />and charges which are in accordance with the foregoing schedule of fees and <br />charges, and no increase therein may be made without prior approval of the <br />Town Council. <br />No rights accrue to the franchisee under the terms of this ordinance <br />until the franchisee has, in writing signed by an officer authorized to do <br />so, accepted the franchise and agreed to be bound by all of the terms of <br />Chapter 9 of the Los Gatos Town Code and until. the franchisee delivers to the <br />Town all required instruments of security and proofs of insurance. <br />SECTION 2. <br />This ordinance takes effect 30 days after the date it is adopted. Within <br />15 days after this ordinance is adopted, the Town Clerk shall cause it to be <br />published once in a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated <br />in the Town. <br />This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council <br />of the Town of Los Gatos on April 7 , 1980, and adopted by the following <br />vote as an ordinance of the Town of Los Gatos at a regular meeting of the Town <br />Council on April 21 , 1980. <br />-2- <br />
