I <br />ORDINANCE NO. 168 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS <br />AMENDING SECTION 16 -43.2 OF THE LOS GATOS <br />TOWN CODE FOR ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMITS ON CERTAIN STREETS <br />THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. <br />Based on an engineering and traffic survey, Section 16 -43.2 of the Los Gatos <br />Town Code entitled, "Establishing Speed Limits on Certain Streets ", is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br />1. Insert the following locations into the list of streets under the heading <br />of PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMIT DECLARE 15 MPH: <br />a. Marchmont Drive from Marchmont Court to east end. <br />2. Delete the Following locations from the list of streets under the heading <br />of PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMIT DECLARED 15 MPH: <br />a. Marchmont Drive from Town limits to end. <br />3. Insert the following locations into the list of streets under the heading <br />of PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMIT DECLARED 20 MPH: <br />a. College Avenue from East Main Street to Prospect Avenue. <br />b. Cypress Way from Spring Street to east end. <br />C. Foster Road from Johnson Avenue to south Town limits. <br />d. Jackson Street from Oak Hill Way to Central Avenue. <br />e. Kennedy Road from 1,900 feet east of Forrester Road. <br />f. Kimble Avenue from Cleland Avenue to Prospect Avenue. <br />g. Phillips Avenue from Cypress Way to South Kennedy Road. <br />4. Delete the following locations from the list of streets under the heading <br />of PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMIT DECLARED 20 MPH: <br />a. Jackson Street from Villa Avenue to Central Avenue. <br />5. Insert the following locations into the list of streets under the heading <br />of PRI FACIE SPEED LIMIT DECLARED 25 MPH: <br />a. <br />Almendra Avenue from Massol Avenue to <br />Santa Cruz Avenue <br />b. <br />Alpine Avenue from Los Gatos Boulevard <br />- to Foster Road. <br />C. <br />Bicknell Road from Quito Road to north <br />end. <br />d. <br />Blossom Valley Drive from Westchester <br />Drive to Sycamore Court. <br />e. <br />Camellia Terrace from Blossom Hill Road <br />to north Town limits. <br />f. <br />Capri Drive from north Town limits to <br />south end. <br />g. <br />Cherry Blossom Lane from Shannon Road <br />to north Town limits. <br />h. <br />Chirco Drive from Los Gatos Boulevard <br />to Flintridge Drive. <br />i. <br />C1earview Drive from west Town limits <br />to Lorain Place. <br />j. <br />Englewood Avenue from Shannon Road to <br />south Town limits. <br />k. <br />Garden lane from Los Gatos Boulevard to Benedict Lane. <br />-1- <br />
