AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO MAKE NONSUBSTANTIVE
CHANGES TO THE NUMBERING OF VARIOUS SECTIONS OR REFERENCES
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS ORDAINS:
SECTION I.
Section 2.00.400 of the Zoning Ordinance is amended to read:
SEC. 2.00.399 RECREATIONAL OPEN SPACE
Any area of land set aside for recreational purposes, both active and pas-
sive, and intended, but not limited to, a park -like atmosphere.
SECTION II.
Section 2.00.401 of the Zoning Ordinance is amended as follows:
SEC. 2.00.400 RECYCLING COLLECTION FACILITY
A small collection facility is smaller than 500 square feet and intended
for the collection of recyclable materials and can include kiosks, igloos,
bins, trailers or Bulk Reverse Vending Machines. These facilities are
generally temporary.
A large collection facility is larger than 500 square feet and accepts
recyclable materials in large quantities for storage and eventual shipment.
This facility is generally a permanent structure.
SECTION III.
Section 3.20.050 of the Zoning Ordinance is amended to read:
SEC. 3.20.050 PROHIBITIONS
(1) Except as provided in Sections 3.20.055(1) and (2), it is unlawful
for anyone to remove or cause to be removed any protected tree in the
Town without obtaining a permit to do so.
SECTION IV.
Section 5.20.205.4.] of the Zoning Ordinance is amended to read:
SEC. 5.20.205 TABLE OF CONDITIONAL USES
K. Conversion of a Mobile Home Park to condominium ownership.
SECTION V.
This ordinance takes effect 30 days after the date it is adopted. Within 15
days after this ordinance is adopted the Town Clerk shall cause it to be
published once in a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in
the Town.
This ordinance was introduced at a continued regular meet-
ing of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos on March 14 1988 and
adopted by the following vote as an ordinance of the Town of Los Gatos at a reg-
ular meeting of the Town Council on March 21 1988•
