Ord 1731 - CONSIDERING AMENDMENTS TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE SIZE, NUMBER, LOCATION AND ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING OF SIGNS FOR HOSPITALSORDINANCE N0, 1731 AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS CONSIDERING AMENDMENTS TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE SIZE, NUMBER, LOCATION AND ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING OF SIGNS FOR HOSPITALS The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos does ordain as follows: SECTION I. SECTION 3,2 of the Zoning Ordinance is amended to read: SECTION 3,32 CONVENIENCE SIGN Convenience signs not exceeding two square feet in area and containing no advertising material, EXCEPTION: Hospital emergency signs may be as large as four square feet and may be illuminated. SECTION 3.38,030 TABLE OF SIGN REGULATIONS The Town's regulation of: ground signs allows a zoning plot with more than 300 feet of frontage in the `CM zone to have one additional ground sign. Staff is recommending that allowance for properties in the Office zone as well, SECTION II This ordinance takes effect 30 days after the date it is adopted. Within 15 days after this ordinance is adopted the Town Clerk shall cause it to be published once in a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the Town. This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos on June 15th 1987 and adopted by the following vote as an ordinance of the Town of Los Gatos at a regular meeting of the Town Council on _ 6th 1987.
