ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AMENDING
CHAPTER 2, SECTION 2 -1 OF THE TOWN
CODE ESTABLISHING TOWN COUNCIL MEETINGS
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN:
SECTION I
Article I, Section 2 -1, Town Council Meetings -Time, of the Town Code is hereby
repealed in its entirety.
SECTION II
Article I, Section 2 -1, Town Council Meetings -Time, of the Town Code is hereby
enacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE I
IN GENERAL
Section 2 -1. Town Council Meetings -Time.
The Town Council shall hold regular meetings on the first and third Monday
of each month at seven - thirty p.m.; provided, that when the day fixed for any regular
meeting of the Town Council falls upon a day designated by laws as a legal or
national holiday, such meeting shall be held at the same hour on the next succeeding
day not a holiday. The Town Council may establish additional regular meetings bX
adopting a calendar of scheduled meetings at least thirty days prior 30) to such
meetings. Any adopted calendar of meetings shall be posted in the office of the
Town Clerk.
SECTION III
This ordinance takes effect 30 days after it is adopted. Within 15 days after this
ordinance is adopted the Town Clerk shall cause it to be published once in a newspaper
of general circulation published and circulated in the Town.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos on June 3, 1991 and adopted by the following vote as an ordinance of
the Town of Los Gatos at a Meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos on
June 17, 1991. , t
