RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF .LOS GATOS
APPROVING THE :SPECIFICATIONS FOR
CAPITAL. PROJECT 02-26
TREE PRUNING AND REMOVAL
AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO ADVERTISE THE PROJECT FOR BIDS
WHEREAS, pruning generally improves tree health and longevity, and
WHEREAS, structural pruning. and deadwooding trees is required to enhance the health,
safety and welfare of the community.
WHEREAS, staff has determined .locations of trees requiring pruning. and removals.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED.: by the Town Council of the Town of Los
Gatos to approve Specifications for Project D2-26 Tree Pruning and Removal.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Town Clerls is .hereby authorized and
directed to advertise the Tree Pruning and Removal Project for bids in the manner prescribed by
the Town Municipal Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Los Gatos held on the 19th day of February, 2002 by the following voter
