RESOLUTION 2001 - 35 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS <br />ALLOCATING COIVIMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS <br />TO THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2001-2002 <br />WHEREAS, the Town of Los Gatos receives. Community Development Bloclc Grant <br />funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development through the County of Santa <br />Clara as anon-entitlement city pursuant to the provisions of Title I of the Housing .and Community <br />Development Acts of 1974 :and 1977, as amended; and <br />WHEREAS, the Community Services Commission reviewed all applications for <br />funding from community agencies andwhereas, the Community Services Commission heldapublic <br />hearing on March 15, 2001, and received public testimony; and <br />WHEREAS, the Town Council considered the Community Services Commission's <br />funding recommendations at a regularly scheduled council meeting on Apri14, 2001; and <br />WHEREAS, the Town has been notified that the CDBG allocation for Fiscal Year <br />2001-2002 is $180,874.. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS.: <br />A. The Town Council finds that CDB G funds are available for Fiscal Year 2001- <br />2002; and <br />B. The Town Council adopts the recommendation of the Community Services <br />Commission; and <br />
