1ESOLUTION 2001 - 43 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN DF LOS GATOS <br />AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO ENTER INTO THE FIRST <br />AMENDMENT DF THE MONTE 'SERENO POLICE SERVICES CONTRACT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Monte Sereno has entered into a 30 year Police <br />:Services Contract with the Town of Los Gatos; and <br />WHEREAS, the original contract cappedthe year to year increases in the cost <br />of providing those services at 7.5% for each of the first five years; and <br />WHEREAS, because of potential :increases in the consumer price index, and <br />wages and benefits of Police Officers, the Town of Los Gatos and the City of Monte <br />Sereno have agreed to set the cap at 8% .from July 1, 2001 through June 30, 2006, <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town <br />of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that the Town .Manager is <br />authorized, and is hereby directed to enter into the first amendment of the Monte Sereno <br />Police Services Contract. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the.
