2001-107-Awarding A Construction Contract For Project #01-06 (Phase 3) 2001 Pavement Overlay ProgramRESOLUTION 2001-107 RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE TOWN OF LDS GATOS AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR PROJECT #01-06 (PHASE 3) 2001 PAVEMENT OVERLAY PROGRAM WHEREAS, bids were sought in conformance with State and Town 'law for Project #01- 06 (Phase 3) - 2001 Pavement Overlay Program; and WHEREAS., Granite Construction Company of Watsonville, California submitted the lowest bid which the Town Council/Redevelopment Agency deems to be .responsive to the Towri's ,solicitation dated August 22, 2001. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council/Redevelopment Agency of the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, :State of California, that Granite Construction Company of Watsonville, California is declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for Project #01-06 (Phase 3) - 2001 Pavement Overlay Program. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Manager/Executive Director is hereby authorized and directed to execute a construction contract (Attached as Exhibit A) for said project on behalf of the Town/Agency in the amount of $3,834,485.25. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council/Redevelopment Agency ofthe Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the l5t day of October, 2001, by the following vote: COUNCIL/AGENCY MEMBERS.: AYES: Randy Attaway, Steven Blanton, Sandy Decl~er, Steve Glickman, Mayor Joe Pirzynslci.
