RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF'THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO ACCEPT $10,800 AWARDED !BY THE
BUREAU OF JUSTICE ASSISTANCE FOR LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT BLOCK
GRANT AND ADOPT RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE USE OF'THOSE FUNDS
TO PURCHASE A DIGITAL IMAGING SYSTEM TO INCLUDE CAMERAS,
SCANNER, COLOR PRINTER,. DESKTOP COMPUTER, SOFTWARE AND
ACCESSORIES
WHEREAS, the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant/Bureau of Justice Assistance has
awarded the Town of Los Gatos a grant with which the Town wishes to purchase a digital imaging
system and,
WHEREAS,, the Town .has specified the grant :funds would be used to purchase the digital
imaging system and,
WHEREAS, the Town of.Los Gatos is entitled to receive $10„800 under the terms of the
Local Law Enforcement Bloclc Grant/Bureau of Justice Assistance program if the Town agrees to
comply with financial and administrative requirements set forth; and,
WHEREAS,, the advisory board established to make-anon-binding recommendation to the
Town on the use of the grant funds has recommended that the funds be used to purchase a digital
imaging system for the Los Gatos/Monte Sereno Police Department;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos,
County of Santa Clara, State of California, that the Town Manager is authorized to accept. funds from
the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant/Bureau of Justice Assistance for the purpose of purchasing
a digital imaging system for the Los Gatos/Monte Sereno Police Department.
PASSED .AND ADOPTED at regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los
Gatos, California, held on the 19'" day of November, 2001 by the following vote:.
