A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING TOWN`S
OPEN SPACE MAINTENANCE POLICY
WHEREAS, the Town owns numerous parks and other landscaped areas
which require continuing maintenance; and
WHEREAS, each additional parcel of such land adds to the Towns
maintenance cost (which is borne by the taxpayers of
Los Gatos); and
WHEREAS, the cost impact on the Town should properly be analyzed
and considered before any additional landscaped areas
are approved or accepted by the Town for maintenance
responsibility;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Los Gatos Town Council that
the Planning Commission and appropriate Town staff be. requested
not to require or accept additional parcels of land for maintenance
at Town expense without the advance review and approval of the Town
Council.

GATOS, CALIFORNIA, at a regular meeting held on the
2nd day of January , 1973, by the following
