AN ORDINANCE AMENDING QRDINANOE No. 276 OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
RELATING TO ZONING.
(WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos finds
and deems it necessary for the public interest, health, comfort,
convenience, safety and general welfare to amend the Town Ordinance
No. 276 by changing the hereinafter described property hereinafter
set forth in Section 1 hereof and Section 2 hereof from a 1IRZ-10
residential district to an "R=-2" residential district; and
WHEREAS, it appears that all of the procedural requirements
of Section 15 of said Zoning Ordinance No. 276 have been fully
complied with;

FOLLQo.S:
Section 1. That Section 4.1 of Ordinance No..276 of the
Town of Los Gatos, a sectional district map, is hereby amended
in part so that the district and boundaries shown thereon, and
particularly the following described area, to wit:
Property on the north side of Ivullen Avenue between Edelen
Avenue and University Avenue hereinafter more particularly
described, and property on the east side of University
Avenue between Mullen Avenue and Miles Avenue hereinafter
particularly described, to wit:
(a) Lots 1, 2, 3, 41 5, 6, and 7 of Block 2 of the
Isiles and Edelen Subdivision, Vineyard Lots in
the Town of Los Gatos;
(b) Lot 8 of Block 2 of the Miles and Edelen Subdivision
Vineyard Lots in the Town of Los Gatos excepting
therefrom the northerly 6.67 feet of said Lot 8.
and now shown as "R-111 residential district on said Sectional
District Map, and being Section 4.1 of said Ordinance No. 276,

is and will be an "R 2" residential district, instead of a "R-1€1
residential district.
Section 2 . That Section 4.2 of Ordinance No. 2'76 of the
Town of Los Gatos, a sectional district map, is hereby amended

in part so that the district and boundaries shown thereon, and
particularly the following described area, to wit:
Property lying on the west side of University Avenue
commencing on the south line of Lot 7 of Block 1 of
Miles and Edelen Subdivision, bordering the present
"C" commercial district which said south line is in
direct line with the prolongation of the southerly
side of Mullen.Avenue, thence northerly to Grays Lane
to a depth of one lot, to wit, to the easterly line
of the Southern Pacific Raili-,iay property, and being
lots 2, 3, 4, 52 6, and 7 of Block 1 of the Niles
and Edelen Subdivision, Vineyard Lots in the Town of
Los Gatos:
and now shown as 11R-111 residential district on said Sectional
District Map, and being Section 4.2 of said Ordinance No. 276,
is and will be an OR-21' residential district, instead of a `R-11'
residential district.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be 'published once in the
LOS GATOS DAILY TIMES, a newspaper of general circulation, printed
and published in the Town of Los Gatos.
The above and foregoing ordinance was duly and regularly
introduced at a continued regular meeting of the Town Council of
the Town of Los Gatos held on the 29th day of January, 1951, and
was thereafter on the S~ day of 1951, at a
regular meeting duly and regularly adopted by the following vote.
