LAN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 249 OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS,
ENTITLED " AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A UNIFORM BUILDING CODE, ESTAB-
LISHING FIRE ZONES AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES."
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 249 entitled, "An
Ordinance Adopting a Uniform Building Code, Establishing Fire
Zones and Providing for Penalties," passed and adopted by the.
Zqwn. Council of the Town of Los Gatos on the 16th day of December,
1940, be, and the same is hereby amended to add to the fire
district known and designated as Fire Zone 2, therein described
the following described portion of the Town of Los Gatos:
Beginning at the most Southerly corner of Lot 15 of the
J. W. Lyndon's Subdivision as recorded September 17, 1881,
in Book A of maps at page 54 thereof, in the office of the
County Recorder of the County of Santa Clara, State of
California, and running thence Westerly along the Southern
line of said Lot 15 to the easterly line of Lyndon Avenue,
thence northerly along easterly line of Lyndon Avenue, and
the projection thereof northerly, to the southerly line of
Bean Avenue, thence easterly along the southerly line of
Bean Avenue to the projection northerly of the easterly
line of Lots 15, 16, and 17 of said Lyndon's Subdivision,
thence southerly along said northerly projection and easterly
line to the point of beginning.
And that the hereinabove described portion of the Town
of Los Gatos be changed from said fire district kno,F,n and designated
as Fire Zone 3 to fire district known and designated as Fire Zone 2.
Section 2.'- This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
thirty (30) days from and after date of its passage and before
the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage it shall be
published once with the names of the members voting for and against
the same in the a newspaper
published in the Town of Los Gatos.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council of
the Town of Los Gatos, Mate of California, held on the 17th day of
May, 1948.
